STATIONS OF THE PASSION       St Mary's, Ewell, Surrey

This series of 18 paintings uses 12 of the traditional Stations, but adds The Last Supper and Gethsemane and finishes with the Resurrection, Ascension and Pentecost.   The shaped panels, painted in trompe-l'oeil to feel like rough, splitting wood, sit like sculptures in the archade of the balcony.   They can be moved onto the walls of the church for use during Lent.
